6 days agoI adore you. 🫂 What’s bringing me peace right now is knowing that I don’t have to understand everything to trust God with it. After losing my son, I’ve had to lean on Him through a grief that words could never fully explain. And in the other losses and changes life brings, He continues to sustain me. Sometimes my prayer is simply, “Lord, help me,” and I’m grateful I don’t have to find beautiful words to be heard. I’m learning that faith doesn’t require me to hide my hurt. I can love God, trust His promises, and still need rest, support, and room to cry. There is peace in knowing I can bring all of that to Him. As I prepare to gather others who are carrying their own grief, I’m reminded that I still need His care, too. Serving others doesn’t mean I’ve finished healing. Thank you for sharing this so honestly. I pray God pours back into you as you pour into others, surrounds you with people who can hold space for you, and gives you moments of joy right in the middle of what you’re navigating. He is near to the brokenhearted, and I’m so grateful we don’t have to walk through this without Him.
7 days agoFor me, it’s my daily ritual of intentional solitude. Thirty minutes to an hour in a coffee shop, where I deliberately disconnect from the distractions, demands, and obligations of everyday life. I guard this time rather fiercely. No expectations, no need to be productive, no one requiring anything of me. Just the pleasure of my own company. It’s a small luxury I’ve come to regard as sacred, and one I make every effort to give myself daily. ☕️🤍
7 days agoHey sis, I’m just wrapping you in so much love and covering you in prayer right now. I know this road is heavy and nothing anyone says can magically fix it, but I want you to know you don't have to carry it alone. Take it one breath at a time, and give yourself all the grace in the world. 🙏🏾🫶🏾
7 days agoI just adore you! You find a way to bring light into every room you’re in, even when you’re carrying things people will never know. Sending you love friend 💕
7 days agoThank you for this! Grief has changed me in ways I never knew it could. It’s a wild ride. I’m grateful to my new puppy girl for the joy she’s bringing me in my darkest season of life 💚
