You move through life differently when you’re carrying grief.

Everyday things can take a little more out of you. And grief doesn’t always mean someone has died. It can be grieving change, a life you imagined, or the certainty you once had.

I’ve understood that more deeply lately. I’ve continued to show up, but some days have taken more than a photo could tell you.

My faith in God and prayer have sustained me. So has asking for help and letting people I trust hold space for me.

I’m learning there’s room for all of it: grief and joy, gratitude and hurt, hope without having every answer.

On World Mental Health Day, give yourself permission to rest, feel, and receive support.

I’m still in the middle of it, but I have joy and reasons to keep hoping.

You belong here and you deserve care, even when you don’t have it all together.

I love being at home but I’ve been taking advantage of opportunities to actually wear the cute clothes I buy. And that’s exactly why I reached into my closet for this @somethingbysonjia Stella Drape Dress for a @tbfashionweek event.

The last time I wore this dress, I was 10 months postpartum on a family vacation in Mexico and I’m still obsessed! (Receipt on last slide.)

I also loved catching up with my friend @thisjenngirl who is not only great company but she always snaps the best pics and videos of me! Forever my favorite photographer! (Slides 1-3 as evidence)

And the cherry on top was connecting with the talented @bhavnakanakiaofficial whose gorgeous handcrafted fashion accessories were on display. by @themargofrancois

So grateful to be in conversation with @thestyleliszt about wellness and style at @neimanmarcustampabay for Tampa Bay Fashion Week. We explored how what we wear can shape our confidence and mental well-being, and how community gives us room to show up as ourselves.

That felt personal. I’m two years postpartum, and during the hardest stretch, even getting dressed lost its joy. Recently, I pulled pieces from my closet again, like this fabulous @fumithelabel dress, that made me feel fierce. A small moment, but a much-needed dopamine hit.

Looking good won’t cure a hard day, but the confidence it gives you can change how you move through one.

I also loved seeing designs from Hispanic-founded brands like @brachobosch and @ninanieves on display in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. On Thursday, September 24, 2026, I’m so excited to join @tbfashionweek for Wellness in Style at Neiman Marcus at International Plaza.

I’ll be sitting down with stylist and content creator @thestyleliszt for a real conversation about wellness, creativity, personal style, and how we take care of ourselves while navigating all the things! Because whew. 😮‍💨

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how easy it is to get so focused on building a good life that you forget to actually enjoy it.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I was always looking ahead to the next thing. The next goal or milestone.

So I’ve been trying to do things a little differently. Saying yes more. Trying new things and coming back to the things that always made me feel like me. Making time for the people I love and being more present while I’m with them.

I still have big goals and I’m still ambitious. I’m just realizing I don’t want to wait until I “arrive” somewhere to enjoy the life I’m already living.

Maybe that’s what this season is teaching me: I don’t have to choose between building a meaningful life and enjoying it. I can do both. 💕 taken in Tampa, Florida by @themargofrancois
