Here are some of the processes used to create my Scarab swivel rings, which started life as molten blobs of recycled silver.

These were then rolled into little discs, hand forged, chased, soldered, filed, finished, polished, oxidized and buffed, to create little pieces of wearable sculpture.

See and play with them first at Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair, at Victoria Baths in Manchester, next week (15-18th October).
