And just like that, my time as an assistant volleyball coach has come to an end (for now🌝). 🙂‍↕️

Coming back to my hometown and getting the opportunity to coach has been an experience I’ll always be grateful for. I came into this internship knowing I had a lot to learn, but I never expected these girls to teach me just as much as I hoped to teach them.

This season was about so much more than volleyball. I built some relationships, learned how to be more patient , got hit with different personalities, had difficult conversations, and realized that sometimes the smallest things you do can make the biggest difference in someone else’s life.

To the girls, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey. Thank you for the laughs, the conversations, the frustrating moments, and the memories. I hope that somewhere along the way, I was able to leave you with something that goes beyond the volleyball court. Whether it was a lesson, a word of encouragement, or simply knowing that someone believed in you.

I started this experience not knowing what I was getting into and now I’m leaving with a better understanding of what it means to lead, listen, and show up for others.

The season may be over, but the impact these girls have had on me will last forever. 💜🏐
