Whitetail Addictions

Everyone has their own way of chasing down mature whitetails with a bow. Over and over, we keep hearing how it cannot—or should not—be done on early October mornings. Time and time again, though, I keep punching my tags on some of my biggest bucks on those very mornings and passing on other opportunities.

This one was no different. As a matter of fact, he was one of numerous bucks I saw strolling back to bed, eating acorns and freshening up sign along the way.
