There are versions of yourself you haven’t met yet.

At 52. At 62. At 72. New depths of love, creativity, wisdom and pleasure still to discover.

In this podcast conversation, we explore ageing as an initiation. Making space for who we’re becoming, and finding the community and support to grow through life’s transitions.

What might we look forward to if we gave ourselves permission to embrace getting older?

For anyone afraid of aging, for anyone grieving the collective feminine psyche, for anyone who has felt shame in their body and anyone ready to stop chasing youth and start ripening into eldership and legacy - this is for you.

In working with many older generations I see a clear split often in how they experience later years of life. They are either open, accepting, positive and flexible and seem to get the most life has to offer or unfortunately end up experiencing heightened anxiety or either deep sadness or anger and resentment. I feel now the later is related to soul fragmentation - and years of unprocessed emotional events without any support to move through and process/release these. To be an elder vs being older is a nice way to distinguish between these experiences

i think i chase youth bc i have "odysseus" syndrome. i was sedated on heroin for so much of my youth and twenties. i have no pictures of myself in those times. very few actually, if any. i never did any of the things i dreamt about. now im 36 and finally have freedom but i always think - it feels like i was high for 2 days but really it was 16 years (hence the odysseus syndrome) its quite crazy but i love this message because if im being honest with myself i am chasing old versions of who i thought i was or COULD have been. and its a sad way to live. anyways, great message and thank you all the way from cleveland ohio ❤️
