A real privilege to be part of the @gooddesignaus Awards 2026 jury for Service Design Category, and to present the Best in Discipline award alongside Dr @leanne_sobel .

Congratulations to @seabin_project for taking out Best in Discipline - Service Design, and to @allumeenergy for their SolShare project (Solar Power for apartment living) who won both Good Design Award of the Year and the Good Design Award for Sustainability, a historic first for the awards!

This year's theme was "Design that leads"

So many brilliant ideas, challenging convention and showing what’s possible when we approach problems differently.

But most of all, it was about being in the company of great designers - people who inspire, enable and empathise. I even got to meet the designer of the @brisbane.olympics.2032_ logo!

This is my tribe. ❤️

Thank you to @brandon.gien @rachelannwye and the @gooddesignaus team for the invitation to be part of the jury, and putting on an event that is of international standard. @bencrothers forever my mischievous brother in all things design.
