Nearly two years after losing her husband, Collins is still trying to get through each day. Ansel, her late husband’s best friend, is determined to help her start living again. And the way this man shows up!! Yoga, painting, making a fool of himself just to make her smile... I loved him SO much. 🥹♥️

I loved watching Collins reclaim her life and open her heart again. Their friendship slowly becomes something more, with all the guilt and complicated feelings you’d expect. Nothing felt rushed, and her healing always had room. Some revelations broke my heart for her, but there was so much tenderness, laughter, and hope, too. That ending and the bonus chapters…🥹🤌🏻

The female friendships were beautiful, the Mercer brothers continue to be amazing, and the Thermos Crew might just be my favorite side characters EVER!! I love this family so much. And those crumbs about book three… I cannot WAIT!!

I did an immersive read, and this audio was EVERYTHING!! 🎧 @connorcrais and @narratormaxine brought all the emotion, chemistry, pain, and heartbreak as Ansel and Collins. With additional narration by Jason Clarke, Callie Dalton, JF Harding, Aaron Shedlock, Stephen Dexter, and Jill Smith, the whole cast was perfection!! Highly recommend listening!! 🩵
