🧠 What happens when technology meets the human brain?
Last week in Abuja, @unesco engaged over 2,800 @nysc_fct Corps members at the Kubwa Orientation Camp in an awareness session on the Ethics of Neurotechnology.
From #healthcare and education to communication and hands-free devices, #neurotechnology is creating new opportunities and raising important questions about privacy, autonomy, equity and human dignity.
The session introduced young Nigerians to UNESCO’s Recommendation on the Ethics of Neurotechnology, adopted by UNESCO Member States in 2025, and encouraged them to take part in shaping conversations around the responsible use of emerging technologies.
