JOURNEY TO PEACE ποΈ
With our beautiful hosts: @glitterbyink @nwitzcrafts .
PART THREE: BREATHE π§ββοΈ LISTEN π΅οΈ
π§π¦ββ¬π§
The atmosphere at the NYPD precinct was anything but peaceful.
Detective Anthony Russo sat alongside his new colleague, Detective Lindsay McCaffery, a sharp-witted Irishwoman recently transferred from Chicago. Her most notable accomplishment was solving the clues at the infamous HollowBriar House.
Presiding over the meeting was their no-nonsense superior, Captain Vito Colombo.
Across the table sat Tori and Bianca, two fiercely independent women who had invested their divorce settlements in beautiful Brooklyn Heights brownstones, only to find themselves tangled in the same web of deceit.
As the ladies recounted their encounters with Vinny Marsala and Rocco Scarpariello, the detectives LISTENED intently.
Tori described Vinnyβs unauthorized access to her home, while Bianca detailed the disappearance of her Cartier watch and diamond earrings during her kitchen renovations.
Detective McCaffery leaned forward.
βSo, let me get this straight. These two charmers have been playing both sides of the street, helping themselves to whatever takes their fancy?β
βThat about sums it up,β Bianca replied dryly.
Captain Colombo exchanged a knowing glance with Russo.
βI believe we have heard enough to start connecting the dots.β
Lindsay smiled. βBack in Chicago, we had a saying:
Give a fool enough rope, and heβll hang himself.β
Confident that this would be handled properly, both women could finally BREATHE. β‘οΈ
