Families are MOST successful when they abide by the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The gospel of Christ is for ALL of God’s children, and it has the power to bless anyone who chooses to accept it and live its teachings.

True and lasting happiness comes as we follow Christ, abide by the principles taught in the Family Proclamation, and allow the gospel to deepen our joy, guide our actions, and enrich our relationships.

This is a family-centered gospel, and families are strengthened through it.

But some may say, “What about my family? Mine has fallen apart.”

That is where the hope of the gospel becomes even more powerful.

We are ALL part of God’s eternal family. Even if you are the only person in your family choosing to live the gospel, keep your covenants, and follow Christ, your faithfulness still matters. You can continue to bless your family now and throughout the eternities.

The choices of others do not cancel the promises God has made to you.

And ultimately, because of Jesus Christ, all that is unfair, broken, lost, or painful can be made right. The law of compensation teaches us that no faithful sacrifice, hardship, or loss will ultimately go unanswered.

So regardless of what your family looks like right now—remain faithful.

Keep your covenants. Keep following Christ. Keep building your home on His gospel.

Because God’s promises are not limited by your current family circumstances.

Through Jesus Christ, no faithful effort is wasted, no righteous blessing is ultimately lost, and all that is broken can one day be made right.

I truly can't find anything better for me and my sons. No better answers. No single place for so much truth. Nothing that offers the path to knowing God like the Church of Jesus Christ. Nothing more biblically complete. Nothing that offers the peace of heaven on Earth like The Church of Jesus Christ. Nothing with temples, prophets, authority, miracles, and The Holy Spirit daily. Nothing so all inclusive. Nothing that asks so much of us - because a faith that asks little or nothing is not faith enough to save. I'm certain I've expressed this wholly inadequately. But The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Jesus Christ's Church restored in the last days. Amen, sister. And thank you for sharing your testimony.

It’s another evidence that God is aware of all people and all their struggles. And it reminds us to be mindful of others, too.❤️❤️

Jesus Christ’s gospel brings beauty from ashes and trades the worlds small and fading promises for something extraordinary and expansive ❤️ Even in imperfect families, His covenant promises give us every reason to hope and trust in Him. So grateful to join @itsamyhaycock in sharing why we love the gospel of Jesus Christ!
