Every finish line has a story
Every pace has a place
Every person has a journey
The mental battles no one sees when you’re deep in the trenches and for hours you dream of seeing that finish line - then suddenly you do and every single emotion comes at once🥹
It’s something that is so difficult to describe but so amazing to feel
And for everyone wondering what it is that I hold and kiss across every finish line, it’s my Grandad❤️ a locket that was made with some of his ashes in✨
The reason I never quit anything I do and the reason for everything I do - him. He’s in my running vest for every run and race and he’s never far away💫
