It’s 💯 needs a revamp. I was there a couple of months ago and would never go back. There is nothing art about it or good. It was a complete mess in the dark with so many people and kids, that it was ONLY a matter of time before this happened. Saw sooooo much sketchy stuff. Sad… I really wanted to be there. 💩

First Friday needs to become Second Sunday (if we wanna keep the alliteration going) and needs to be a DAYTIME event. And yes, bring back the artists and make all the vendors reapply. Some of the vendors are so sketch ain’t no wayyyy they’re licensed. This is coming from an Arts District business owner 🙋🏼♀️ I literally give my entire staff off and not because it’s a celebration… it’s because we physically can’t even park in our parking lot (that I own) because they BLOCK access!!! It’s gotten NUTTY. Having it during the day on a weekend would keep work days clear for folks that want to go on a weekend and keep the “nothing good happens after bedtime” hoodlums out that are ruining it for the rest of us.
