They really couldn’t handle a little South African gees? 🇿🇦✈️😭

Remember those two Airlink jets that flew over DHL Stadium ahead of the Springboks vs All Blacks clash? Well, the iconic stunt might be coming back to haunt the airline.

The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) is reviewing the controversial low-altitude flyover, with Airlink given until 15 October to respond to its findings.

And here’s the plot twist: the flyover was actually approved beforehand. 👀

Airlink maintains that the aircraft operated within approved safety limits, but the regulator has warned that any wrongdoing could lead to enforcement action.

No final decision has been made.

From giving South Africans goosebumps to potentially getting grounded. Yoh, what a plot twist. 😭

Be honest, South Africa: was this an iconic moment or did the pilots take the gees a little too far? 👇

You know who is upset? Everyone outside of South Africa. Thems need to get a life and look at their own airlines.

I thought it was a little low but it was incredible and all went off perfectly fine no one was harmed. In the future maybe a little less low but don’t we have more important things to worry about in SA?

Still waiting for reviewing it? How many times do they want to watch it... I mean nothing is going to change from the first few times it was watched. Do people not have anything better to do... How about they review the airforce jets and helicopters that fly over southern suburbs in the middle of the night and no it's not police helicopters

Spoke to two pilots or a big airline. They called it „irresponsible“.
