They really couldn’t handle a little South African gees? 🇿🇦✈️😭

Remember those two Airlink jets that flew over DHL Stadium ahead of the Springboks vs All Blacks clash? Well, the iconic stunt might be coming back to haunt the airline.

The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) is reviewing the controversial low-altitude flyover, with Airlink given until 15 October to respond to its findings.

And here’s the plot twist: the flyover was actually approved beforehand. 👀

Airlink maintains that the aircraft operated within approved safety limits, but the regulator has warned that any wrongdoing could lead to enforcement action.

No final decision has been made.

From giving South Africans goosebumps to potentially getting grounded. Yoh, what a plot twist. 😭

The Stormers are going back to black 🏉🖤

Tomorrow’s coastal derby against the Sharks is shaping up to be one for the books, with the Stormers set to wear their new black alternate strip for the first time this season — a throwback to the iconic 1999 ‘Men in Black’ campaign.

Adding to the occasion, around 50 former Stormers players and their families will come together in a dedicated block at DHL Stadium, with former players invited to enjoy the match as guests of the club. 💙

And with 24 Springboks set to feature in the Cape Town clash, Mark Keohane has called it ‘the biggest domestic Saturday of the season so far’ — so expect the rugby to be just as big as the hype. 👀🔥
