This mindset shift rewired the way I work.

I stopped believing that constant pressure was necessary for progress.

I stopped believing that being busy, stretched, or mentally “on” all the time meant I was doing something right.

Once I let that go, everything shifted, my decision-making, my creativity, even my nervous system.

I started building from clarity rather than urgency, and from intention rather than reaction.

The work didn’t disappear and the ambition didn’t fade.

My thinking became sharper, my energy more protected, and the results more sustainable.

If you’re a freelancer, founder, or small business owner who feels like your brain never fully shuts off, what’s one thing you could change about the way you work to create more space for yourself?
