1) Dordaak Kepup Library and Youth Innovation Hub
Dordaak Kepup opened in December 2025 and its name translates to “Place of Living Waters” in the Whadjuk Noongar language.
We have been here a few times since it opened and enjoyed our mornings here. So nice to feel the new books! It is also one of the places we go to often during summer to avoid eczema flare up for the kids (indoor, air-conditioned).
It was our first time attending the storytelling and nursery rhymes session on Tuesday (FREE!)! Session was bear theme as they celebrate Winnie the Pooh’s 100th birthday (14 October 2026). There were craft activities too!
2) Broadwater Park (linked a reel I did in the past)
If you need to head outdoor, Broadview Park is right behind the library! Our kids still enjoy the toddler-friendly playground.
❗️ There is a lake at the park. Supervise kids closely!
❗️The gazebo and boardwalk are unavailable now till further works are done.
3) Cafe and shops around the library
