Wedding heels built like professional DANCE shoes exist because I wore the wrong shoes to my own wedding, so you don’t have to.

Ten years ago, I was planning our wedding and needed heels I could actually dance in all night. The pretty heels hurt. The dance shoes were hideous. So I walked down the aisle in one and danced all night in the other.

The question stuck with me: why can’t one heel be both?

Turns out, it’s hard. Every detail had to look like a luxury heel and perform like a dance shoe. It took the perfect shoemaker in Portugal, someone who’s spent decades on the art of making shoes, to get it right.

LunaSol launched on our wedding anniversary, two years ago this month. Since then, brides all over the world have worn them from the aisle to the afterparty. Still a pinch me moment.
