The day I never, ever thought I’d see 😊

And the best part of all…

Is that now I get to share it with the best bloody bunch of women (& some men!) I’ve had the privilege to get to know 🥰

I have a complicated relationship with my family & sometimes, for me, 4 years still feels so new.

Maybe for them, this is just the new normal.

So although we are all in contact now…
It must still be pretty difficult to be the sister of an addict - even in recovery.

I get a pat on the back for doing what my brothers have done without fanfare for the last 30 years.

This has been the first year that we haven’t celebrated my clean time birthday together.

But I had a fantastic day!
A little stroll around town.
Picked up my new PJs.
A fish cake for dinner & an M&S donut (on offer!) for dessert 😝

Life honestly doesn’t get better than this!

Please don’t give up.
Share your story.
Speak your truth.

You never know who needs to hear it today.

Love to every single one of you!
I couldn’t imagine doing this without you.
SJ &, of course, The Queen 🐾
