👉🏻He was engaged for 2 years and took back the $30,000 ring. Now he wants me as his matchmaker.
I want to say no.

Am I right or wrong?

As a coach, I believe intuition deserves attention, but so does context. I agree she invested two years of her life, but so did he. Ending an engagement and taking back a ring doesn’t, on its own, tell us someone’s character. I’d want to understand why the relationship ended, how they treated each other, and whether he takes accountability for his part. It’s possible he wasn’t a kind partner, but it’s also possible she wasn’t, or that both contributed to an unhealthy dynamic. We simply don’t know enough. That said, if your intuition has consistently served you well, I’d give that feeling more weight than the ring itself. 🩷
