St. Augustine Prep IEE

From the pitch to the front office, it was a 24-hour Hermit doubleheader at Subaru Park!

After Hermits Soccer scored a 5–0 victory at Subaru Park, a group of Prep students returned to the stadium the following day to explore the work that happens beyond the field through the Work in Sports Camp, presented by Widener University in partnership with the Philadelphia Union.

Students from the Prep’s Innovation, Experiential Learning and Entrepreneurship Program and the inaugural IEE Fellows cohort interested in sports-related careers received a behind-the-scenes look at gameday operations, fan experience, communications, physical therapy, ticketing and sales.

Experiences like this allow the Hermit Brotherhood to explore their interests, ask questions and discover career paths they may not have previously considered.

We thank Widener University and the Philadelphia Union for welcoming our Hermits and sharing this memorable day with them!
