Thank you for this. It took me over a decade to seek help because of the Christian belief that I just needed to turn to God or that I’m only feeling this way due to not having enough faith in Him or not being strong enough or not calling on Him. I still get it from my family but I decided to seek help any way but of course not to replace God.
