Winning is cool, but making memories is far more valuable.
I won my first national show two years ago today, and the moment my name got called, all I could think about was how returning home with the trophy would make my grandma feel, since her precious time on earth was limited at that point.
It was never about a trophy, but on a much deeper level, more about making those around you proud.
This prep has been more challenging than recent ones in finding my "why" between shows and partially that may be because of her absence.
Titles don't mean close to anything when you don't have loved ones to share those victories with.
Seeing these pictures this morning in my gallery reminded me of why I've never stopped continuously moving forward.
Cherish your loved ones and keep pushing.
