All joking aside, that video of Dalton asking for chilaquiles and all your comments really got me thinking about embracing more of my Hispanic heritage.

Growing up, I never really felt like I fit in. When I’d tell kids at school I was half Hispanic, they’d laugh or not believe me, so eventually I just stopped bringing it up.

But I want my kids to know that part of our family. I want to learn to cook the things my mom and grandma made for me and my sisters and pass those memories and traditions down to them.

I think I have some catching up to do… but that tortilla flip was a start. 😂❤️
