BBC Look North presenter Peter Levy struggled to keep a straight face after making a cheeky joke about his colleague live on air.
The veteran presenter was wrapping up a report featuring a Dacia Sandero when he joked: “I love the car names. Phillip Norton, who is always looking for an escort.”
Levy couldn’t stop laughing at his own joke and struggled to compose himself as he attempted to carry on with the programme.
He’s been presenting BBC Look North for more than two decades and is no stranger to a bit of cheeky humour during the news.

The highlight of my day is 6.45 when Paul's weather forecast is on. Worth paying the licence fee on its own just to hear Peter and Paul chatting nonsense 😅
