I’m not a makeup artist. I can barely apply red lipstick without my magnifying mirror and a whole lot of concentration.

But you know what? I’m not letting a few shaky lines, changing eyesight, or a little midlife realness stop me from wearing a bold red lip.

We’re not waiting to be experts, to get it perfect, or to look a certain way.

We’re putting on the lipstick. We’re showing up. We’re wearing the damn boots.

Anyone else need a magnifying mirror just to put on lipstick these days?
