Apparently my neurodivergent brain is a ✨superpower✨ when it benefits others, but a ✨problem✨ when I need an accommodation. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE 🙃

We 👏 are 👏 DONE celebrating neurodivergent brilliance while shaming neurodivergent needs👏

Comment POD to get today’s pod ep sent straight to you - where Tyler (aka VP hype squad, my dear amazing wonderful AuDHD husband) and i are getting REAL on neurodivergent shame/growing up thinking something was so deeply wrong with you, spending your whole life trying to be “normal,” the exhausting reality of masking ADHD + autism, and how we’re raising our neurodivergent kids to never carry the same shame we did🫶

for real… we need to have this conversation LOUDERRR 🎤 it’s time to support neurodivergent brains the way they deserve

Have you used so many tools that when you explain it to someone else they almost don’t believe you 😂 for me just go get through the day is two ai assistants, constant alarms and texts to myself and two calendars. I also take medication. Ask me to find you an artwork for 300k that nobody can find or a detail about art dealing and I’m like sure on it and excel 😭

Try getting me to make the appointment to see the psych to get my diagnosis. That referral is now coffee stained and crinkled 😂

Celebrating the superpower but shaming the needs is such a sharp way to put it. Raising kids who never have to hide how their brains work is a goal worth every loud conversation.
