WIP Wednesday! A new cast on, @midori_hirose_knit White Mountains Sweater in @harrisvilledesigns highland in the color Teak. I love love love the shaping already and I can tell it’s going to be a long wearing staple garment. I also love knitting German short rows. Anyone else?

Two weeks ago: Florida State hits back to back Hail Mary TDs on Miami, refs take both away This week: UNC recovers two consecutive onside kicks on Miami, refs take both away You’ll never see that sequence of events again in your lifetime Miami somehow finds itself in the middle of ANOTHER officiating controversy, and at this point, fans are starting to wonder what is going on. Last week against Florida State, two consecutive Hail Mary touchdowns were wiped away by the officials. Now, just one week later, North Carolina reportedly recovered two straight onside kicks against Miami, only for both to be taken away. You genuinely cannot make this stuff up. The Hurricanes keep finding themselves in situations where massive calls go their way at the biggest possible moments. Whether the officials got the decisions right or wrong, having four potentially game-changing plays overturned across two consecutive weeks is absolutely ridiculous. It’s the kind of sequence that makes opposing fan bases feel like they’re fighting the referees just as much as Miami. At some point, you have to understand why college football fans are frustrated. Miami keeps escaping these controversial moments while its opponents are left wondering what could have been. Two Hail Mary touchdowns one week, two onside kick recoveries the next.
