Learning from experience, building connections, and making the most of the MAES community! ๐๐
Over the past few weeks, our students have had the opportunity to learn from both alumni and peers through two events organized by the CGES Alumni and second-years.
๐ฃ๏ธ At our Networking Tips & Tricks session, MAES alumni Charlotte Carstens (โ20), Sam Denney (โ18), Colleen Dougherty (โ22), and Pete Giannino (โ18) shared advice on navigating Washington, D.C.โs professional scene, from networking events and think tank gatherings to LinkedIn outreach and building meaningful connections.
โฑ๏ธ At How I Spent My Summer Vacation, our second-year students shared their summer experiences with the incoming cohort, from internships at BMW and on Capitol Hill to opportunities at think tanks and organizations across Europe and the United States.
A big thank you to our amazing community for sharing their insights, experiences, and advice with the next generation of MAES students!
