Broward County Pet Of The Week

‼️DEADLINE OCT 15th
SAVE A LIFE - SHY GUY NEEDS A HERO TO SAY YES!!!!!‼️

‼️Urgent‼️

Meet Shy Guy! (A2479469)
5-Years-Old | Male
American Staffordshire Terrier Mix | 59lbs

Shy Guy was a stray who came to us back in early August. The poor guy was terrified and acted very defensively toward anyone who tried handling him. We don’t know Shy Guy’s full story, but we do know he deserves the chance to be in a home and know what it is to be loved.

Shy Guy has shown some resource guarding around food and treats both in and out his kennel. Unfortunately, we are unable to really get to know him fully as this behavior poses a safety risk to staff, so his handling and enrichment is very limited. However, Shy Guy can be playful and affectionate and we are hoping to place him with a transfer partner or adopter that is willing to give him a chance and work with this sweet boy.

*Shy Guy must receive commitment from a transfer partner or adopter by Thursday, October 15.*
