Y'all. I'm on pins and needles. 😂

I keep thinking about that famous Erykah Badu line: "I'm an artist, and I'm sensitive about my "ssshhh....".

Whew. I feel that in my SOUL right now.

Because this book? This is my baby.

I've carried it, prayed over it, questioned it, worked on it, reworked it, and poured so much of myself into these pages.

My clinical experience. My faith. My personal lessons. My mistakes. The things I've learned and had to relearn.

And now, I'm getting ready to release it into the world.

And listen, my husband has read it and is convinced it's AMAZING. But y'all know how that goes. He's my husband. He's supposed to think his baby is beautiful! 😂

But underneath all the nerves is something I believe deeply.

The Couture Life isn't simply a book I want you to read. It's an experience I want you to have.

I want you to recognize patterns you've never questioned. Challenge narratives you've carried for years. Discover more clearly who God created you to be. And begin making intentional choices that honor that design.

That's why the dress form on the cover matters so much to me.

In couture fashion, the garment is designed to fit the person. The person isn't expected to change who they are to fit the garment.

And that's the heart of this book.
