The Maritime Festival is THIS WEEKEND! The perfect time to stop by 234 Carpenter Street to visit the artwork by Tom Mullane. A self-taught sculptor, Tom Mullane transforms discarded tools and reclaimed metal into whimsical works of art inspired by marine life and the natural beauty of the East End.

Each sculpture begins with a single object—a rusty wrench, an abandoned tool, or an overlooked piece of metal—that sparks an idea. Mullane cleans, restores, and meticulously welds the pieces together, allowing each creation to reveal its own personality.

This exhibition celebrates imagination, sustainability, and the remarkable ability to transform discarded objects into strikingly detailed sculptural works. Learning to weld… a definite yes.
