Now I’m making a second lap like the pasta sauce is going to pull me aside and say, “Babe. You came for paper towels.” 😂

But don’t worry. I’ll remember the second I get home. My brain loves a reveal when it’s no longer fucking helpful. 🤣

7 years ago I was a barista at a coffee shop making $8/hr. I knew I was a hard worker but wasn’t getting paid for it. I got into sales bc they promised me “f*ck u money” haha. While I did make the”f*ck you money”, yanno I bought my dream cars, house etc.. none of that holds a candle to the feeling of control I got by learning sales. You get what you put in. For the first time in my life if I wanted to work extra hard one month I would directly make more money. got addicted to the game & you will too.

ਝੋਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦਵਾਉਣਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਬਣ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਰੋਂਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦਾ ਜਹਾਨੋ ਤੁਰ ਗਿਆ ਪੁੱਤ ਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੋੜ ਸਕਦੀ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੇ ਪੁੱਤ ਦਾ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਮਦਦ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ।

My heart sank and words completely failed me as I held Parvinder Singh Jhota’s mother in my arms.

There is NOTHING in this world which is more painful than watching a mother lose her child. Her howls and her tears speak volumes about the absolute collapse and injustice of the system.

No mother should ever have to endure this pain especially when her son stood up to save Punjab from drugs.

Jhota's murder has become a personal fight for me. I promise to do whatever I can to get this mother peace and closure that she rightfully deserves. I promise to stand with Jhota’s family shoulder to shoulder till justice is duly and fully served.
