Our students know how to put on a show! The 2026 President’s Scholarship Ball featured performances by UVU Ballroom Dance Company, Repertory Ballet Ensemble, and Wind Symphony.

The evening raised support for UVU students, and our SOA students contributed to making it a magical evening.

Thank you to every performer who helped bring the vibrant energy to the UCCU Center, and to everyone who attended. We can’t wait to see what’s next for UVU.

Vawa Island started with a vacation to Fiji in 2012 and a deserted island spotted from the beach. The owners later acquired the 75-acre raw island and spent many years turning it into a fully functional private high end retreat. At its center is a 5,500 SF contemporary residence completed in 2023, featuring cyclone-resistant walls of glass, designer finishes, solar power, desalination, StarLink, and interiors shaped by travels through Morocco, India, and Europe. A 3,200-square-foot hardwood deck wraps around a nearly 40,000-gallon pool, while each bedroom has ocean views and opens to a private outdoor bath. A guesthouse and additional cabin provides space for guests or staff. Now offered fully furnished for $10 million with an 85-year tourism lease, it is a one-of-a-kind Fiji property: an entire island that was built to function as a home. It’s finally here! Four years ago, I was hunting for a book for our book club when my friends at @texasbookfest suggested The Bodyguard. I’m so glad they did! Not only was it an incredible read, but it led me to meet and form a friendship with the brilliant author @katherinecenter. Never did I imagine that one day I’d get to help bring her words to the screen. What a wild and wonderful full-circle moment! I hope you all enjoy Guarding Stars as much as I have. I’m so proud of the wonderful writers, director, producers, actors, crew, Netflix, and of course, Katherine, for bringing this story to life. Here’s the sneak peek… ❤️
Best part of my birthday! Such a full life! Let’s do this same time next year? Klara for president! ❤️
