Our students know how to put on a show! The 2026 President’s Scholarship Ball featured performances by UVU Ballroom Dance Company, Repertory Ballet Ensemble, and Wind Symphony.

The evening raised support for UVU students, and our SOA students contributed to making it a magical evening.

Thank you to every performer who helped bring the vibrant energy to the UCCU Center, and to everyone who attended. We can’t wait to see what’s next for UVU. by @uvu_rbe_

🎀 Feminine intuition kept her going, hard work got her there 👑

Share this with someone who needs the reminder!

UVU Dance Senior, Hope King, competed in the Miss Utah Pageant in June and was named first runner up. (Woohoo!🥳)

Before her moment on stage at Miss Utah, Hope served as Miss Utah County, dedicating herself to “Autism Awareness: Belong Through Movement”.

This is her community service initiative, which fostered connection and made dance a more inclusive environment for all, holding sensory friendly dance classes for children and adults with autism.

Hope continues to give back by teaching rec dance classes in Spanish Fork.

“Dance is so important to me and so is creating inclusive dance spaces! What a joy to move and share movement!”

From the Miss Utah stage, to teaching dance classes, and back to pursuing her degree at UVU this fall, we are proud of our Wolverine, Hope King, as she continues to lift people wherever she is and make the world a better place. Incredible work! 🙌

Drop a 🩰 to show your support for Hope and love for dance.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share that Monica Campbell, valued UVU Department of Dance faculty since 2010, passed away early Monday morning. As Associate Professor and former Chair of the Department of Dance, she inspired students and colleagues alike with her creativity, leadership, and compassion.
Our hearts are with her family, friends, and all who knew her. Current students, faculty, and staff can check their UVU email for support resources.
To honor her incredible legacy, the UVU Department of Dance will be launching a scholarship in Monica’s name. Donations may be made at the Monica Campbell Memorial Scholarship link in our bio.
Details about celebration of life services will be shared as they become available.
Monica’s light, passion, and love for dance will continue to inspire our community. by @uvu_rbe_
