This past Sunday, we kicked off our 26/27 MainStage season with a bang as violinist Amaryn Olmeda (@amarynolmedaviolin), Maestro Earl Lee (@earlleeconductor), and the A2SO joined forces for an electrifying concert at Hill Auditorium! 🤩🎻
Our 98th season opener featured stellar musicianship from beginning to end, with Adler’s To Life!, Copland’s Appalachian Spring, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6, and Amaryn’s A2SO debut of Barber’s violin concerto and Perkinson’s Louisiana Blues Strut.
Special thanks to the University of Michigan Centers of Excellence for their generous concert support, along with our musicians, ushers, Hill personnel, and all who helped make our 26/27 MainStage opener possible!
