Can’t think of anyone more RITE (proud of that one) to be my partner in crime for some Stravinsky this week with the @kcsymphony - @cristinacutts is one of my absolute dearest friends and ludicrously good tuba players who inspires me every time I hear her. Also yes, this is how much gear we need for this piece and we are not being extra. taken in Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts by @jarrett.mccourt

Gina Gillie’s Song for the Lost is a lovely work that i’ve enjoyed playing a lot this year — lyrical, raw, and quietly powerful.

Just released: “Embers” — an exciting new work I commissioned this year for tuba and piano by @galaflagello. It moves through a non-linear journey of grief through reflection, tension, and calm — a unique and sizzling addition to the rep. 🔥🎶
