Thank you to @rwjbarnabas_health employees for donating more than 12,000 lbs. of food to us while attending a leadership retreat Wednesday. They also donated 1,200 lbs. of freshly-prepared catered surplus food from the conference.
We donated the freshly-prepared food to @marketstreetmission and the hundreds of bags of food to our new community partner, @rubasicneeds at @rutgersnb.
As a 501c3 nonprofit, Table to Table picks up surplus food at no charge and delivers it for free to community organizations serving neighbors in need. Donations like this occur because of the relationships we forge with donors and recipients throughout northern New Jersey.
