Come fly to lunch with me! ✈️ I’ve been reading your comments on my last few flying videos and I am here to answer your questions! Which… are mainly about cost.

Learning to fly is the big cost I didn’t touch on here— I don’t come from an aviation family, but I’ve structured my life around learning to fly since I was a teen. It took me 6+ years because I kept running out of money, I got through my first solo in high school working line crew in exchange for hours (20:1) and working my paid job nights and weekends. I went back to training for 2 weeks after college to crank out the rest of my license with the last of my savings before moving to LA where I knew it would be more expensive. I also just got really lucky with finding an FBO that still let ramp rats learn to fly, I feel like that culture is fading fast :(
