Just under two weeks to go until our group show ‘Connected:Disconnected’! Today, we’re featuring Jim Paterson, who is exhibiting a series of three images that explore memory, loss and emotions.

Jim (@jmpaterson 2012) says: ‘Some fifty years ago, on a sultry Sunday afternoon in Singapore, Lynda and I ‘connect’ by taking a series of playful self-portraits - in homage to David Hockney’s ‘Mr & Mrs Clark and Percy’. God’s ultimate disconnector, death, has subsequently intervened. But I decided to revisit and rework these images, to explore my emotions and to re-connect with a past life.’

Come see how 30 photographers from @london_independent_photography Central Group responded to the theme with images that range from the documentary to figurative and conceptual. The show runs from Oct 27 - 31 at Photofusion, 2 Beehive Place, SW9 7QR. Private view Thu, Oct 29 from 6:30-9 pm.
