love you, sweetie. I can’t wait to be with you again. & to the women that shared their stories of grief with me, thank you. I’m still not even ready to really talk about details. I was mishandled from knowing something was wrong to delivering him alone with no pain management. it’s why I haven’t really talked about Webb’s crazy fast wonderful birth story either. it’s hard to talk about birth stories in general. Kemp’s has just lived unprocessed in my brain and I’ve shelved the trauma from that day while trying to move through the grief of not having him everyday after. maybe I’ll in a few years I’ll be there to share, but if you have delivered your child and held their body with no heartbeat, you are not alone & others have been there too. nothing makes the grief lighter, but I did feel less alone knowing I wasn’t the only one who knows the bone deep grief & the specific traumas that accompany 🫂
