When groceries get harder to afford, having a reliable source of food can make all the difference.

Through a new partnership with @caloptima, our OC Food Bank is helping eligible Medi-Cal recipients put fresh and shelf-stable foods on the table through the Medi-Cal Temporary Food Box Program, available through February 2027.

For our partner agency, @pathwaysofhopeoc, the impact goes beyond the food itself:

“One of the most meaningful parts of the program has been hearing community members share how comforting it is to know they have a resource they can rely on. Families appreciate being able to bring home fresh and pantry items to help supplement their groceries and make their food resources go a little further.”

By working alongside CalOptima and our partner agencies, we’re helping families navigate financial hardship with greater access to nutritious food and support they can count on.
