Lost my father in August, blessed that we almost lost him in January, February, March, this gave us opportunity to spend more time have more meals, even a car show, take the time when you can because you never know. It was definitely easier having had an extra couple dozen. I love yous!

Today feels a little lighter than yesterday. Although I’m still struggling with brain fog and the frustration of not feeling completely like myself, I’m grateful that the sadness isn’t there today.

Some days, simply showing up for yourself feels like a victory and today I’m choosing to celebrate that. I may not have control over every difficult moment, but I refuse to let those moments define me.
