The other thing as a Latin-Aussie (at least in my experience), we are a whole community no matter where you come from, Chilean, Salvadoran, Mexican etc and so I have picked up on so many different slang terms that in the end I don't know which slang belongs to which country anymore 😂

Going to Chile with my son two years ago because he doesn’t speak Spanish I told him we don’t speak English while we’re out exploring and he actually thought my uncle is an Uber driver and refused to talk to my uncle I had to say since when do you see an Uber driver get out of the car greet us with a cuddle and a kiss on the cheek. Now he goes to Spanish school @nswslasa because my mum they don’t talk to chileno

Therefore I think Chilean Australians are TRI-lingual. They speak English, Spanish and CHILEAN 🔥🔥🔥
