It has been a wild few days. 🫨 Friday night we took Amanda in an ambulance to the ER & learned she experienced a small stroke affecting her thalamus & mid brain, leaving her with double vision, vertigo & balance issues. We’d love to hear from you if you’ve experienced something similar and can provide us with some hope & encouragement! She is still in the hospital & they’re still running tests, determining if she’ll need rehab before going home, etc.

We can also use any help we can get as Amanda navigates recovery. As many know, she lives alone here in the city on a 4th floor walk up, working in the world of freelance, still recovering from June’s broken foot + concussion all while caring for her two fur babies. 🐾
