The set design for Hamlet is taking shape today. From tomorrow, we’ll be rehearsing on the main stage at the @blnensemble This is my first collaboration with Ersan Mondtag.

We met at the 60th Venice Biennale.
The German contribution to the event comprised two parts: the Pavilion, featuring Yael Bartana and Ersan Mondtag; and the island of La Certosa, which featured sound works by Nicole L’Huillier, Michael Akstaller, Jan St. Werner and me. The entire project was curated by @ilkcagla . Two years on, I am developing the soundscape and composing the score for Hamlet. I can’t wait to hear how it all sounds – the theatre’s sound system is phenomenal.
