It’s been very interesting being on the other side of the golf widow conflict 😂⛳️

I’ve been the one taking time to golf this summer, and it’s really opened my eyes to the give and take that comes with having a hobby as a parent.

We know how important it is to make time for ourselves and fill our own cups, but that doesn’t make the guilt or the tug on our hearts any easier when we’re away from the people we love most. ❤️

One of the many reasons I love golf is that it’s something the whole family can enjoy together! But the reality is, not every season of life allows for family activities, and sometimes we need to make space for ourselves, too.

Learning to balance being a present parent while still being our own person is a journey. And I think we’re all just figuring it out as we go. 🫶🏼⛳️
