October 16th, 2017 was almost my last night on this earth. But that night I was given a second chance to truly live and love my life.

So this year, as an anniversary gift to myself, I finally got two tattoos I’ve wanted for a long time. Both were intentionally chosen and carry deep meaning meant to honor where I’ve been, the people who helped me get here, and the beautiful life I have ahead of me.

I couldn’t love them more and the life I’m still here to live.
