A Day in the Life of Jo: Chapter Phaedra, a film by the brilliant Jaqueline Lentzou, who won the Orizzonti Award for Best Director at the 83rd Venice Film Festival, premiered at the BFI London Film Festival.
Cast, crew and friends visited the gallery after the screening and discovered works which somehow felt resonant and connected to the film - no spoilers, go see it and you will understand why!

A different kind of premiere, the first time that works from the Irene Y. Panagopoulos Collection travel abroad. “Revisiting: Fernweh, or Nostalgia for Unknown Lands” curated by Katerina Hadji, opened at the Hellenic Centre earlier this month. The exhibition explores Greece as a symbolic construct of both past and present, escaping fixed notions of place.

Athens-born artist Kyvèli Zoi presented her debut UK solo exhibition at Soup Gallery. “Communication Breakdown”, curated by Megan Macnaughton, casts communication difficulties as the emotional hinterland between intimacy and isolation.

In our viewing room ~ Coinciding with the major contemporary art exhibition DEI Meets Art Vol.2 in Athens, sculptures from Irini Bachlitzanaki’s series of works inspired by components used in power distribution networks are on view at the gallery.
