A Hollywood superstar. A world-famous model. A singer. And even a President of the United States.
Different generations. Different backgrounds. Different lives.
Yet somehow, they all found their way to the mats.
One of the most fascinating stories goes all the way back to 1905, when President Theodore Roosevelt was practicing Japanese jiu-jitsu and writing about it to his family.
More than a century later, the martial arts continue reaching people we would never expect.
And that might be the most beautiful thing about it.
Behind every famous face is a person willing to learn something new.
Which name surprised you the most? 👀
And who should be in PART 3?

A few years ago when I knew about Demi Lovato training BJJ I was so excited and wanted to compete with her!!! 🤭 What fascinates me most is that fame, success, and status don’t change the experience of being a beginner. There’s always something new to learn on the mats. ❤️🥋

I met Demi Lovato, she is sooooo beautiful with the Gi!!! The beauty of Jiu-Jitsu is that no matter who you are, once you step onto the mats, you’re a student again. That’s what makes this art so special. 🥋👏

This post is spreading misinformation our president trained Judo mentions of jujutsu are in reference to Japanese jujutsu which Judo has roots in. BJJ on the other hand, literally came from Judo.
